Technology in World War 1

Last week Mr Burt came in and talked to us about Technology in World War 1 and is Technology good or bad? In WW1 Britain spent lots and lots and lots of money on weapons to defeat Germany. One of the things Britain made for war was a HUGE Battle ship with guns they made lots of those and then Germany made a battle ship that was bigger and better than Britain's. Then it just kept going like that Britain would make something and then Germany would make the same thing but it was better the Britain.

I think in World War 1 Technology was bad because it killed lots of people and they spent lots of money on it when they can use it for something else that matters more but now it can be good things like at the hospital they can use it to help sick or injured people.  After the war lots of forests were destroyed  it looked just horrible, instead grass it was muddy and instead of tree's with green leave's tree's were bare and instead of blue sky's it was gray and murky.
