 Rules about flax
 1. You must always treat flax with Respect
 2. Take away the edges and mid rib when getting ready for weaving.
 3. Always have the flax the same length
 4. Do not step on flax when it is being used
 5. Give your first flax to someone as a gift

Things to remember when cutting flax
1. A flax bush has lots of groups of leaves. Do not take the three center leaves in every group so it can keep growing.
2. Cut the flax with a downward cut.
                                                                               3. When you have finished with the leftover flax put them under the flax bush as food.
